Luna Moth in a Lupine storm - 8” x 12”
Among some Native American nations, particularly the Cherokee, the Luna Moth is a symbol of hope, bringing moonlight to light the darkness. For most of my life Luna moths have been among my spirit guides. For usually less than 7 days every year, the larval stage metamorphoses into a short-lived bright light green with an eye-like marking on each wing.
Red Storm Fading - The Autocrat's Dance of Death
False Helebore plant, among the very first plants to appear each spring, particularly in the soils of floodplain forests. The naturally green plant is crafted for this image to appear as red, per the title of the image.
