In Just – Spring
in Just-
spring when the world is mud-
luscious the little
lame balloonman
whistles far and wee
and eddieandbill come
running from marbles and
piracies and it’s
spring
when the world is puddle-wonderful
the queer
old balloonman whistles
far and wee
and bettyandisbel come dancing
from hop-scotch and jump-rope and
it’s
spring
and
the
goat-footed
balloonMan whistles
far
and
wee
I have always loved the poetry of ee cummings. Perhaps it is because it defies all the supposed rules of poetry and makes me chuckle. Today, I present you with a gallery of some of my spring images. The joy of sharing them with you stems from the desperate need to forget about the state of the world at this moment. Take a deep breath and find some joy with me . . . Wayne
